Conference History In October of 2012, we organized our first Fall research conference in Paris, and the following year in 2013, we returned to Paris for the 2nd conference edition. In 2015, we moved the conference venue to Rome, and the conference date to December. The 4th conference edition in 2016 was held in Milan. In 2017, we are returning to Milan for the 5th conference edition.
Conference Mission Our initial motivation for this late fall conference has been to meet and discuss the research projects started during the fall semester, and to create a venue where researchers can get an early feedback on their work, particularly from a multidisciplinary point of view.
Conference Topics The first edition of the conference was narrowly defined as a Finance and Investments conference. Over the years, we expended the view of Investments more as a multidisciplinary research area, and invited abstracts from other areas of academic research. Our current conference orientation centers on two areas/tracks: Track 1: Business; Track 2: Science (Technology, Medicine, Applied Science) The common theme is still related to themes/trends that can provide some broad insights into the financial markets, either from the business/policy view, or the technology/medicine/science view.
