In May of 2013, we organized a conference in Ibiza, Spain, and due to a very positive experience we returned again in May of 2014. After a stop in Monaco in 2015, in April of 2016, we changed the conference venue to Barcelona, Spain. For 2017, we decided to have conference again in Barcelona.
Our initial motivation for this late spring conference has been to meet and discuss the research projects started during the spring semester, and collectively help to finalize the final papers for journal submissions. We still meet in the same spirit, and with the same purpose. In addition, we aim to attract papers with strong practical implications that could be of interest to the practitioner audience.
We are interested in academic research on Global Macro Trends (MT) with strong practical implications. Thus, this conference is by nature multidisciplinary. There are two general tracks: Track 1: Business; Track 2: Science (Technology, Medicine, Applied Science)
